My house in
the city of Georgetown
Beside a
school and but near a park
Close to
everything anyone might need
Neighbors
who are side by side
Surrounded
by buildings which make my town
I know I am
home when I reach my door.
I like that you gave it a title and got the catalog and conversational tone, and that you literally 'bring it home' at the end with how you feel. I would like to see a lot more real, physical images in a revision. Whitman loved to list several things in each long line with really vivid descriptions.
