The most significant discovery I have made is that the
dancing in the Renaissance was that it was divided into two types. There were
two types of dances in the Renaissance. There were court dances and country
dances. Court dances were either fast paced or slow paced. They were attended
by the nobles and required the dancer to be a master. There were also country
dances which were enjoyed by the common folk. They could be enjoyed by anyone
regardless of skill. I had not known this before and it was interesting to see.
