The Sydney Opera House as designed by Jorn Utzon is located
in Sydney, Australia. It engages many architectural principles of design. It
has a very dramatic contrast to its
surroundings. This contrast makes it stand out of other buildings, but it also
is unified in its structural design
and it fits quite well in such a nautical location. Its roof seems to resemble
part of a ship or maybe the sails on a boat. This dramatic design creates variety to the landscape and harbor of
it sites. It is truly one of the most unique and recognizable buildings in the
world.

I love the Sydney Opera House. You did a great job highlighting the elements you discuss. Your entries are really good, but I would still like to hear a little more about your personal thoughts on them. That's part of what these entries are for. Did you choose this building for a very specific reason, or did it just appeal to you, and why do you think it appealed to you? Nice choice, nice job, and thanks for including the picture!
