"Unit 1: CPR: Assignment 1- My Experiences with Creating, Performing, and Responding."
I have had some experiences in creating, performing, and responding. I love to draw all the time; however, I have rheumatoid arthritis which makes that difficult sometimes. It feels great to design or create some creature, etc. and to give it life. I used to be in band in middle school. I played the percussion instruments. Of course, that was prior to developing arthritis. I really enjoyed the marching band and concerts that we performed. I also enjoy exposure to different art forms. I like all kinds of jazz music. I like all kinds of movies such as dramas, comedies, science fiction, and of course suspense. I like the way I can think about the plot and characters. It sure creates a response for me since I get so involved in the story. All art forms make me come to life. They inspire me.
Jake, I really like this entry, especially how you note that your response to movies is stronger because you get involved in the stories. I'm sorry that your arthritis makes it difficult for you to participate in some of the art forms you enjoy. I hope that you enjoy the course and learning about all kinds of art, and I hope to read more interesting and thoughtful entries from you.
