Blog: How "place" shapes our way of thinking Skip To: Course Menu Skip To: System Navigation .

The place I grew up was a couple of houses. The first one was a big brick house with an acre long yard. The second one is a small house with no yard. The third one is a somewhat small house with a medium-sized yard. I have always lived in the suburbs.  When we moved to the brick house in Richmond I was very young, I can barely remember the houses we lived in before that. I can remember the wide yard and he summer days when we would play outside while our dad mowed the lawn. We always played around the house. When I was in seventh grade we moved to a small house with no yard. It was very different than our old house. When we lived there I had my third surgery on my heart. Last year we moved into my grandma's house. The places I have lived are still expanding today.  Even though we stay inside a lot me and my family are always busy. That busy lifestyle has helped me become more intelligent.

  1. This is a nice entry. I like the way you tie certain places to certain memories and life events. I think that is how places we've lived stay with us.
